La Cofradia Ed Catrina Reposado

The La Cofradía Edición Catrina Reposado is where Mexican artistry meets tequila mastery. Inspired by La Catrina, the elegant skull figure symbolizing remembrance and celebration during Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead), this tequila captures the vibrant soul of Mexico in both flavor and design. Crafted in Tequila, Jalisco, and presented in a hand-painted ceramic bottle depicting La Catrina in vivid color, it’s a tribute to heritage, craftsmanship, and timeless style. Smooth, golden, and deeply expressive, it’s tequila elevated to art.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Soft aromas of vanilla, caramel, and toasted oak, intertwined with cooked agave, citrus, and a touch of spice.
Palate: Smooth and medium-bodied. Layers of honey, roasted agave, and sweet oak are balanced by gentle pepper, clove, and a hint of citrus zest. The oak influence lends warmth without overpowering the agave’s natural sweetness.
Finish: Long and graceful with lingering vanilla, mild spice, and earthy agave notes.

Distilled from 100% Blue Weber agave, hand harvested at full maturity in Jalisco’s rich volcanic soil. The agave hearts are slow-cooked in traditional brick ovens, naturally fermented, and double-distilled in copper pot stills. The spirit is then rested for six months in American oak barrels, gaining depth, smoothness, and a golden amber hue. Each ceramic decanter is hand-painted by artisans in Tonalá, making every bottle a one of a kind piece of collectible art.
